'Grow your own' Cut Flower Patch - Seed starting Workshop

Not all seeds make good cut flowers. Join us on Saturday 28th March for a information packed hands on session where we share our knowledge and dive into the world of seed starting and growing your own cut flower patch.
April is the perfect time to start summer annual seeds, giving them 6-8 weeks indoors to grow strong before planting outside after the last frost. Learn everything you need to know from Emma of Farndon Flower Farm.
We discuss varieties and cultivars, methods and techniques, timings and successions. We will share our top 5 flowers and a planting plan for them.
Suitable for absolute beginners we will show you how to sow a variety of seeds that you can take home with you and nurture ready to plant out into your garden in May. We'll spend a glorious morning discussing everything seed starting and cut flowers. Growing your own flowers to cut and bring into the house is a wonderful experience that brings so much joy.

Take home all the seedlings you start on the session (20) and Emma will also give you some larger seedlings that are more established to take home and care for before planting out in May.
